Free Spring Printables, See Us at Craft and Antique Show, New Samples & Giveaway!

Hi Everyone,   I've got a bunch of different things today like a reminder that it's the last day to enter our Spring Giveaway and also check out our GO Green March Linky Party.

Also, a bunch of links for our past Free Printables stopped working so I'm posting 4 of them here. This beautiful rose card was first posted in 2008. I have other below as well as info on the Lynden Craft and Antique Show, tips, links and some inspiring sample ideas!

Click on the image until it's as large as possible, then left click it and save to a folder

We will have a booth and be selling at the 29th Annual Lynden, WA Craft and Antique Show Mar 19-21, 2015. It's a popular show and I wish could bring everything including my stock of CD's, stamps, stickers, scraps, etc - but I can only bring genuine old items or hand crafted pieces. So I will have a mix of both and Lyssa my shipper is going to be helping me and we would love to meet you if you live in the area!

I still have a bunch of my old Letterpress alphabet letters (about half of this first photo) so I'm bringing them, a bunch of books, postcards, greeting cards, prints, etc. I have too much stuff for a 10 x 10 booth but they are sold out and don't have any extra space.

I also found a bunch of big old cutlery pieces and rhinestone mismatch jewelry and thought of the cool Fairy Spoons Vicki Chrisman created and decided I'm going to make a dozen to sell with little nests!

One thing that didn't sell at the last antique show we sold at was my Mikasa China. Maybe it wasn't old enough.  We received most of it as wedding gifts 32 years ago but it always felt too fancy and fragile to use.  I did some research and found www.replacements.com who are the world's largest
supplier and buyer of old and new china, crystal, silver, and collectibles. Their 500,000-square-foot facility is the size of 8 football fields.  They stock over 12 million pieces in more than 400,000 patterns and will pay you outright for items they want! So if you have any mis-match china, crystal or silver you want to get rid of, or wish to add missing pieces to a collection you should check out their site.

Replacements.com  sent me a form with all the prices of what they would pay for each piece depending on their stock (good for 30 days) and are going to pay me $267.00 and I will keep the small plates, cream and sugar and sell them on my own.  I also have an old Noritake 17" oval platter that doesn't match anything and asked about it and they said they want to buy.  Yippee, I'm delighted!

Here's one of our Saint Patricks Day Free Printables.

 An April Pom

I love this sweet image of these children singing Easter Songs

DT Member Sheila Rumney created a bunch of pretty card using our Sew Decorative CD and she's going to be sharing them on her Blog

Also, DT Member Ginny created this cool Baby card using layers from our Baby Boy Sticker Sheet with  Really Reasonable Ribbons for a challenge with their ribbon.

We are working on several new Digital Stamp sets and adding new bigger and better designs to some sets like Hardware, Farm Chicks and others.  They should be ready soon!

Lastly a reminder about our Sale in our craftyvintagegirl.com store

Thank you for the information about Replacements.com. I will be contacting them for sure. Since you have decided to deal with them, I am curious as to how they handle packing and shipping? I do not have the best record of shipping glass objects through the U.S.Postal system, so I am anxious to hear how they handle breakage, and who's responsibility it becomes. Thanks for your help.

Hi Linda, I can't find an email for you so I hope you come back and check here. This will be my first time selling to Relacements.com but I checked and they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and a good reviews on Yelp except for one. It seems to really make a difference in the price they offer if they are low in stock of the item you want to sell. They will email you an offer of what they are paying for each piece in a pattern, so they sent me a 3 page pdf listing all the prices for every item with sizes in my Mikasa china. I read in a review where someone waited until they were low in stock on crystal glasses she wanted to sell and she got 3 times as much. They are paying me $25.00 per dinner plate for my Mikasa and I'm very happy with that but yes - I have to pay for shipping and also pay for insurance. I never really thought about the insurance much but now I'm worried it may be high? I will do an update post and let everyone know how it went.
